SfM (Structure-from-Motion) photogrammetry can be a powerful survey tool in the right hands and the Greenhatch Group has extensive experience of using this technique for commercial projects. When carefully controlled with traditional survey methodologies, SfM photogrammetry can provide dense point clouds, mesh models and high-quality photorealistic renders with high degrees of accuracy and precision. The scalability of SfM means the technique can be applied to single objects for sub-mm precision or whole landscapes when used with UAV.
Greenhatch use SfM increasingly for providing scaled elevation orthoimages for architects and conservation bodies. However, we are also well equipped to provide more traditional rectified photography for suitable subjects including photographic surveys, 360° panoramas and virtual tours.

A fly through video showcasing a photogrammetric 3D model of Great Castle Head Lighthouse situated within the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
The model has allowed the client to have a highly detailed and photo realistic overview of the property and its surrounding environment, something that would have been very difficult and expensive without the use of drone technology.
