Apprenticeship scheme

Greenhatch Group are one of the UK’s largest employers within the UK, that concentrates solely on Geospatial surveys. We recognise that in order for us to maintain our high standards, and a positive reputation, we have to develop and encourage the next tranche of skilled surveyors.

Through the University of Derby we have created a bespoke Apprenticeship scheme which consists of academic studies - BSc (Hons) Civil Engineering - that covers all aspects of the geospatial industry including fundamentals of surveying, civil engineering, structural Design, 2D & 3D CAD and Applied Mathematics. It is a day release course set over a 4 year period and funded by The Apprenticeship Levy Scheme which is the latest Government initiative to help reduce the skills shortage and is funded partly by The State and remainder by Greenhatch.

We have paired up with the University of Derby to develop this Apprenticeship as we feel the set-up of the single day academic studies and remainder of the working week involved in active projects will provide a solid foundation to develop the individuals.
