A fly through video showcasing a photogrammetric 3D model of Great Castle Head Lighthouse situated within the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

The model, commissioned by T-Space Architects, was created using approximately 900 overlapping images, captured using the DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone which is equipped with a gimbal stabilised 20MP digital camera.

With a procedure called Structure-from-Motion (SfM) photogrammetry, these images were processed using the latest software from Agisoft to create detailed 3D data sets, which were scaled and georeferenced using a number of control points coordinated on site.

The model has allowed the client to have a highly detailed and photo realistic overview of the property and its surrounding environment, something that would have been very difficult and expensive without the use of drone technology.
