Design & Development Mapping can field 11 Land Survey Crews all equipped with the latest Leica TPS1200+ Total Station Theodolites, and up to 6 GPS crews.
The staff have an expertise in topographic surveys and have experience working in a host of different environments. Personnel have varying qualifications and are fully trained in the equipment and software used.
All the data is captured on site to a PCMA recording card and is loaded into a software package - 'Land Survey System LSS' where 3D ground modelling and data verification is undertaken. The details from the 3D Ground Model created are then exported into AutoCAD where final processing takes place prior to issue to the client. The data can be issued in both 2D and 3D formats. Our Topographical Surveys range from small single plots to major multi acre developments, work is undertaken throughout the UK with experience of sites in Europe and the Carribean. We also have experience and the equipment to undertake Bathymetric Surveys together with full River/Flood plain modelling with results available in HECRAS and ISIS formats.
