The original practice was formed in 1980 as a partnership dealing with mainly quarry work. During 1988 the main Limited Company was formed and continued to have a steady growth.
However, it was not until the board of directors was re-formed in 1994 that the group began a rapid programme of expansion. We have currently 60 full-time staff split between the four specialised companies.

Staff have a varied range of training and qualifications for a number of environments. Including construction sites, railway, industrial, confined spaces and health and safety.
Design & Development Mapping Ltd
Can field 11 land survey crews all equipped with the latest Leica TPS 1200+ theodolites and 6 crews equipped with the latest Leica GPS systems.
Building Surveys
Can field 8 building survey teams all equipped with the latest Leica TPS 1200+ theodolites and handheld laser distos.
3D Laser Scanning
Has been working with the Leica HDS range of scanners for over 5 years.
Engineering
The engineering department consists of 3 engineering teams, equipped with the latest equipment.
Utility Mapping
We are able to offer utility mapping services using specialist sub contractors.
Since 1994 the group have acquired several commercial properties and interests in other businesses, which have strengthened our financial base. These include property and land in Southern Europe, Eastern Europe and the Carribean.
We have opportunities to expand the practice overseas using these bases with the initial expansion likely to be Eastern Europe.
Our long term objective is to continually improve the quaility of our product and service. This will generate an increase in our curent client base which now exceeds 2500 customers.
