Laser Scanning has been working with the Leica range of scanners for over 5 years. Having previously worked with the cyrax 2500 we have now upgraded to the latest Leica HDS3000. This technology used together with Leica TPS theodolites enables us to gather and produce data to +-3mm accuracy.
There are currently 5 members of staff fully trained in the operation of the laser scanner and manipulation of scan data. Their backgrounds include architectural, conservation and construction.
We have a number of software packages to manipulate the data or to export including: Cloudworx - AutoCAD Plugin - PointCloud - Pointools.
The scan data can be issued in a number of 3D formats or issued as 2D AutoCAD drawings. Also scaled JPG images of the scan and .avi animations can be produced.
We also have a high resolution leica digital camera and software to produce digital rectified scaled photography at 2000x2000 pixel.
